Help & FAQ
How points, ratings, tiers and safety actually work.
Your card
Only from real games. After a game ends, teammates and opponents who actually played rate you on one stat each. Once at least 2 different people have rated you in that game, those points get added to your card. One rating alone never moves anything.
Overall blends your 6 stats (5 if you only play goalkeeper) using weights based on your position. A striker leans on pace and shooting more than a defender does. Playing multiple positions blends the weightings evenly.
You haven't played 5 rated games yet, so there isn't enough data for your card to be a reliable read on your ability. It clears automatically once you have.
Every new player gets 50 points to put straight into their stats, right away or saved for later from your profile. After that, all further progress comes only from ratings.
No. Ratings are anonymous, even to you. Only the total effect on your card is visible, never who gave what.
Card tiers, frames and badges
Tiers based on your Overall: Bronze from 30, Silver from 60, Gold from 75, Diamond from 90. They change the colour and glow on your card.
Six starter frames are free from day one. The other six are earned automatically as a specific stat crosses 50, 65, 80 and 90. Pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending and physical each have their own.
Badges are based entirely on real results: games played, win streaks, unbeaten runs. There's nothing to claim or apply for, they unlock the moment you qualify.
Games
If a game is still short of its minimum player count within 3 hours of kickoff, it auto-cancels and everyone who had joined gets notified, so nobody turns up to an empty pitch.
The organiser can flag you as a no-show, which knocks a small amount off your stats. If you think that is unfair, you can dispute it and the organiser decides.
Bibs splits confirmed players into two sides, trying to keep total Overall as even as possible. The organiser can still swap players by hand before locking teams.
Safety and privacy
Nobody. Your home location is only ever used on our servers to check distance for nearby games and players. No other user, including friends, ever sees your coordinates or address, and you can remove it any time from Edit profile.
Mute quietly stops you seeing someone's posts, with no one notified. Block is stronger: it ends any friendship, stops messages both ways, and hides posts both ways.
Your report is reviewed. You won't see other people's reports, and nobody can see that you filed one.
Account
Both, from your profile. "Download my data" gives you everything tied to your account as a file, and "Delete account" permanently erases it. That one can't be undone. What is deleted and what is kept is set out at bibs5aside.com/delete-account.
